Donna Finch, BSc, DipT, RNCST (EMG), RET (EEG)
Neurophysiology. Donna has worked across the lower mainland,
contributing to the development of neurophysiology laboratories at Vancouver
General Hospital, Surrey Memorial Hospital, the Jim Pattision Outpatient Care
and Surgical Centre and Valley EEG in New Westminster. She has dual
certification in both EEG and EMG applied neurophysiology. She is an
active teacher of neurophysiology, and is a regular preceptor
for the BCIT EEG Technologist training program.
A long-time Surrey resident, Dr. Diggle first studied genetics and
cell biology at the University of British Columbia before completing his
training in medicine and neurology at the University of Calgary. He went on to
do subspecialty training in neuromuscular disease and epilepsy at the University
of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia before returning to Surrey with his
family in 2007. He maintains an active practice in general neurology as
well as his subspecialty interests. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor
in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and enjoys
participating in all aspects of medical education.
Charles BL Gervais, BSc (Hon), MD, FRCPC, CSCN (EMG)
Neurologist. Charles completed an honours degree in natural sciences with McMaster University followed by medical school with St George's University. He completed his neurology residency with the University of Saskatchewan followed by sub-specialty fellowship training in neuromuscular diseases and epilepsy with the Mayo Clinic before moving to Surrey with his family in 2016 to join the Coastal Neurology team. He maintains an active interest in general neurology with particular interest in disorders of the peripheral nervous system. He enjoys participating in all aspects of medical education.
